"Section through Shasta Co. from Deadwood Mines to Lassen's Butte." MS note below title states "c. 1892". Long before Shasta Dam the Sacramento River is free flowing. Mt. Lassen is shown but Mt. Shasta is indicated as "Castle Peaks" at the top of the map, showing the map does not cover all of present day Shasta County. Afterthought Mine (copper, Lead & zinc) on N.
