This hand-drawn map is of the Battle around Alexandria in 1801. It has been trimmed, loosing some information on the right side. The city walls are Alexandria are shown upper right with Pompey's Pillar located. It appears to show Napoleon's retreat from the city in April 1801 (?). Hand-drawn on verso of a printed map entitled Plan du Port de Gouadaquini now called Jekil Sound in the Province of Georgia in North America, Latitude 31:13 North (ca.1741) [RB Map 093:393].
