Kashnor notes, " A very fine map, which not only depicts Nova Anglia, Novum Belgium, Nieuw Nederland, &c., with extreme clearness and accuracy, but also shows the banks and shoals in St. George's Channel, and gives the soundings for the use of navigators. It retains the old Dutch names, especially in the province of New York." Kashnor dates as 1720, McCorkle suggest 1724 but notes it may have been printed as early as 1716.
